7pm, Wednesday 3rd February 2016 at our clubhouse in High Oaks.
The St Albans Centurions registration evening for senior (first and second team) players will be held as above. Players old and new can attend and 'sign on' to play for the Cents in the 2016 season. Our head coach and our team manager will be there, along with committee members, to answer any questions you may have. Players registration will be £85 for the season, which includes a new club polo shirt and training top. None playing membership - including club polo - can also be had for £50, and club supporter membership without the polo shirt is £30. Training, pre-season and several social events will also be mentioned. We would like to send out a big 'Thank You' to our two main sponsors who are backing us for another year. John McGuinness from St Albans best pub, The White Swan, has signed on with us for a third season as our Club Sponsor, and Stowe Family Law have returned for their second season as first team sponsors. Making this announcement, Cents chairman Brian Parker said "Once again we very pleased to announce our link up with our two main sponsors. At first glance they could not be more different, John McGuinness, who runs a local pub, and Stowe Family Law, the UK's largest specialist family law firm with offices in London, Leeds, Manchester, Cheshire, Yorkshire and St Albans. What they both have in common is that they recognise that it takes a lot of money to run an amateur sports club for minis, juniors and seniors, and they also know what great work St Albans Centurions are doing in our area and they want to help the club and their local community, and we thank them for that."
Official confirmation will be made later this month when the '20th anniversary' team shirt is unveiled with our sponsors details on them. A mention must also be given to Raging Bull Rugby, who we class as a sponsor due to the great deals we get off them when purchasing our team strips. St Albans Centurions have two websites, this one, which is the standard club site giving information regarding the club and teams, and a second one that showcases photographs from lots of the teams games. This website has only been running from 1st May 2015 and from that date until 31st December we have had 5,213 'visits'. (A visit is classed as one person visiting this site in a 24 hour period). Our second, (photo) site has been running for a couple of years now, and in 2015 the club recorded 269,106 visits to view the photos.
The club is hoping that these kind of viewing figures will prove attractive for anyone considering sponsoring the club or individual teams for the forthcoming season. |
