St Albans Centurions Jake McLaughlins try helped the East Rugby League Blues gain their third inter regional win on the bounce on Saturday against the North East. After going a try down on the ten minute mark, the East Rugby League Blues scored an unanswered 18 points to continue their unbeaten streak at regional level to 3 games. Trys from Jake McCloughlin, Jack Saunders, Mike Stewart and a single conversion from Lee Walker rounded off the first half scoring before Will Ferrier's interception try finished off the scoring in the second. Final score North East RL 4 - 18 East RL St Albans Centurions Masters (Over 35's) have announced their first game of the 2017 season when they will be entertaining the London And Down South Masters team at Toulmin Drive on Saturday 20th May. Kick off 2pm. With the emphasis being on fun and enjoyment, (and after match refreshment as seen left) you can find out all about `The Grey Cents` on their drop down page in Team Info. The two websites that the Centurions run, this one and the photographic one, have done great service to the club again this season. Although the two websites record their 'hits' or 'visits' differently the amount of people visiting both websites is quite impressive. This website, the official club one, has recorded 8,757 'unique visits', ie 8,757 individuals have visited this site at least once throughout 2016. Unfortunately the number of 'hits' for re visits etc., is not recorded. The match day photo website is even more impressive, with 181,907 photographs being viewed in 2016 – that is 500 photos per day being looked at! The club are really pleased with these figures, as it gives prospective sponsors an idea of the kind of coverage they will receive when they get involved with the club. |
