Cents Masters rugby co-ordinator Mick O'Shea (left) has really out done himself this time. To celebrate the Cents Masters -v- London And Down South (LADS) Masters game on May 14th, 12.30pm kick off, Mick, or as he now likes to be called, Biggus Mickus, has placed an order with Verulam Brewery for a '9 of beer' to be available pitchside for all masters players, for use during and after the game. Mick says " Award winning brewer Kevin David John Yelland has brewed some great beers for me in the past and if you are watching the 'Hairy Bikers Pubs That Made Britain' series, he's the brewer in the St Albans' episode. I have asked for this beer to be called 'XX' in honour of the Centurions 20 years Anniversary." The Masters game will be played before the St Albans Centurions first home game of their 20th anniversary season, against Hemel Stags A, kick off at 2.30pm. |
