St Albans Centurions have unveiled their new playing shirt for their 20th anniversary season, and it is a tribute to the strip in which the Cents completed their very first season in the Rugby League Conference, which was given to them by Bradford Northern Rugby League club all those years ago. Names of players, past and present, have been woven into the green bands that run round the shirt.
Cents chairman Brian parker said "We had quite a few discussions as to what kind of a shirt we would play in to commemorate 20 years of the club, and in the end we thought a modern version of our very first strip would be appropriate. When players register to play with the Cents they are given a blue warm up shirt and the new, white, club polo (above, right). However we have also produced another training top and club vest (above, left) that can be purchased by speaking to Sam Norris." Comments are closed.
