St Albans Centurions U12's made their first bow of 2016, with a friendly game against local rivals Hemel Stags. The St Albans youngsters have made the step up from the ranks of the Minis to Juniors now that they have reached secondary school age. This change has seen a high turnover of players and as a result of the clubs recruitment drive, seen several new faces get involved, many of whom were playing their first game of rugby league. The match report can be found on the U12's Team Page. The structure of the rugby league in London and The South, offers no formal league for the u12s, and as a result their season will be made up of friendly games and festivals. The club are always on the lookout for new players, keen to give rugby league a try. Training for both U12 and U13's (school years 7 and 8) is on Thursdays at St Albans RFC, 6.15pm, for more info contact coach Gary Tetlow at [email protected] or mob. 07713472091 Comments are closed.
